Handwoven by Dagaaba women weavers of rural northwest Ghana using 100% carbon-neutral cotton grown by smallholder African farmers. The pattern is traditional and is normally used by the women and men of the district to create smocks. The colour schemes of all our fabrics are taken from the hues that the Dagaaba people use to paint their houses.
The fabric is scattered with tags of crocheted cotton that adds an extra dimension to the pattern.
Hand wash in cool water only. Steam iron if required. There may be some shrinkage in the wash.
